Happy Easter Peeps... enjoy your long weekends and Easter hols everywhere!

So, Friday night was Bunny Bingo in the School Hall. Loads of tables, loads of kids, loads of people... 10 eggs to win between the lot of us! It was fun but OMG, Bingo is sooooo stressful.... two tables pretty much won all the eggs, I had to man my numbers and keep an eye on my son's who was heading for meltdown with every egg he didn't win. Cue complete breakdown at the end when the big Thorntons egg went to one of the 2 winning tables...again! Summer Bingo night will be next, not sure if I can take the pace! 

Sometimes when you just stop and relax and have a little doodle about you come up with something new that you quite like. 

This is me today.... too much on, too much to think about, work, kids, food, things and balls flying everywhere! 

Also, the amazing team at Jeego, the e-card app, have animated one of my rabbits into a card. He even does a little breakdance boogaloo thing with his arms.... it is so cool to see something of mine come to life. You can download the app here and send out little cards from your phone. There's all sorts of lovely ones to choose from. Thanks Vanessa, I really love it. 

Good things have been happening this week.... yesterday I was a runner-up in this month's Tigerprint 'Lovely Days' comp. I came up with the idea as my daughter and I are soooo desperate for a girly day all to ourselves but it doesn't happen that often. Cue me as Meryl in Mamma Mia singing " Slipping through my fingers all the time...." You can see my entry and the other lovely winning ones here.  Thank you Tigerprint :-))

We spent the weekend at our friend's house and they've just got a new Siamese cat. Lovely little thing except it was on heat and every 10 minutes it would go to the back door and start wailing. Not just little wailing.... it was crazy loud, sounded just like a crying baby. Poor little Miss... all she wanted was a night out on the tiles to meet a nice boy cat at the local disco. Luckily we drank lots of wine and didn't hear her carry on all through the night, which it did apparently as my v.tired friend told me in the morning! 

I was away for the weekend and didn't get a chance to put up something for my lovely mum, so here it is now. It's quite fittingly late anyway as the flowers I'd ordered for her weren't even delivered to her yesterday! I had to tell her about them and she told me to cancel it and not waste my money. (She always says this) After speaking to the flower people, they're now being delivered tomorrow for free... which should make her even happier!! Love you Mum! xx 

A little package of loveliness arrived on my doorstep today! The oh so talented Flora Waycott

had a giveaway on her Facebook page and I won! It was the only the other day and it's arrived already all the way from New Zealand. Thank you so much Flora, it's all completely gorgeous. I gave the tea-towel to my daughter to give back to me! :-))

My kiddies are dressing up as their favourite book characters tomorrow. I use favourite loosely. My boy's favourite is a fact book on whales and I couldn't figure out how to do one of those so we settled on the lorax, mainly because I found some big yellow moustaches in the Monsoon outlet near us. Yes, I thought, I am on it! I ordered some orange fur for the lorax and found a friend with some orange leggings we could borrow. Neither have got to me yet.... almost time to panic. My son is just going to be wearing the moustache, I know it!
